SALISBURY, Md. – Governor Larry Hogan has amended and restated his order to close all non-essential businesses by adding a few sectors to the essential business category.

Under the new orders, auto and truck dealers will remain open because they are a federal critical infrastructure sector. Dealerships were set to close at 5 p.m. Monday, however the new issue will allow them to remain open and in top gear, as no services will be reduced.

Dealers say sanitizing practices will be ramped up to ensure the customers and employees are as protected as much as possible.
